Surval Mont-Fleuri

Surval Mont-Fleuri is an international boarding school that houses 75 girls as young as 14 years old.  The school is located in the heights of Montreux in a privileged environment facing the Lake of Geneva. It is the ideal place to pursue stimulating studies suitable for the professional aspirations of a modern young lady.

Students may register for an entire school year or by term (see our conditions). Students are accommodated in comfortable rooms of 2 or 3 beds (a few single rooms are available at extra cost) with a shower, toilet, phone and TV connection. Courses are given by our experienced teaching staff, who is motivated to bring out the best in our students and prepare them for the future. Surval Mont-Fleuri offers the following educational programs:

1) High School Program – from 9th to 12th grade

This is an international academic program taught in English, and based on the American High School system that offers our young girls the opportunity to enter colleges in the USA and Canada. Most American universities consider a European academic experience a valuable asset when evaluating a candidate for admission. Surval Mont-Fleuri is hereby accredited by NCA (the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement).

2) Finishing School Programs

a) Surval Language and Finishing Program “à la carte” offers intensive language classes in the mornings (English or French) and a wide variety of optional courses in the afternoons such as Etiquette, Ceramics, Drawing/Painting, Preparation for TOEFL, Cooking, Pastry, and Photography.

b) The “IVP Higher Certificate in Finishing Course” is an intensive program that offers an in-depth study of finishing and etiquette. During the school year, Surval Mont-Fleuri collaborates with Institut Villa Pierrefeu to offer young girls an exceptionally unique combination of both programs. All students are accommodated at Surval Mont-Fleuri but attend classes on both campuses. Thus making, SURVAL MONT-FLEURI the only international boarding school for girls in Europe to offer such a unique Finishing program during the school year.

This fulltime Finishing program of 40 hours per week includes: Intensive language classes in the mornings and afternoons (French or English), International Etiquette, Protocol, Savoir-Vivre, Table Service Practice & Hostessing, Cooking, Nutrition, Exam Preparation, Home Management, and Floral Art & Table Decoration.

3) Bachelor of Business Administration

The Surval Mont-Fleuri Women’s College gives young women the possibility to earn a Bachelors degree in Business Administration in just 6 semesters (3 years). The program is fully accredited by The Commission of the Council on Occupational Education (COE).
Surval Mont-Fleuri is the only European boarding school offering both High School and Bachelor of Business Administration diplomas that have the option to complement their formal education with courses from our Finishing and Etiquette programs.

SUMMER HOLIDAY COURSE

The Summer Holiday program offers French or English language classes in the mornings, and a wide variety of optional activities and classes from the Surval Finishing program “à la carte” in the afternoons. Surval Mont-Fleuri accepts students ranging from 10 to 20 years old. All sports and excursions are supervised by qualified monitors.
