GIS is a unique “Boutique” style International Boarding School catering to a diverse cohortof High school students from around the world. The scale of the operation permits a student centered approach with students
receiving a greater level of supervision and attention than that found in a typical Boarding School. This has permitted an exceptional level of “value added” outcomes with students exceeding the outcome targets in their “Individual Learning Plans”.
It is unlikely that these students would achieve such results in more traditional establishments and this fact is clearly recognized by parents who entrust their children to GIS for this precise reason. GIS has positioned itself as a learning environment which meets the aspirations of parents and students through a well-constructed and monitored curriculum and extra-curricular programme encouraging its students to develop not only academically but as human beings.
